Author Message   1_mike Posted on Saturday, December 10, 2011 - 09:07 pm:        Saw one of the first motorcycles with...both fuel and oil in the frame today. A 1912 Pierce. All original and it runs. The owner ran it thru the 1/8 mile (drag strip)....24mph at a wopping 23 seconds. The fuel is in the front down tube and the back-bone. The oil tank is the rear (under the seat) down tube. But...in its natural state of OLD red...if you know what I mean (unrestored) on the outside.
