Wheels, valves, compression ratio, swingarm, airbox, intake manfold, battery, slipper clutch, tail section, wiring harness, tires. Thats off the top of my head, I know there is more. | ||

I believe they had the same brakes, just different pad compounds depending on use. Might have had radial master cylinder...can't remember. | ||

You deck the heads on the 1125r for higher compression and use the stock paper gasket. As for the 1125RR, it was also a blueprinted motor, had different rod bolts for sure, chain drive, and more differences than are worth trying to remember from an 1125r. Brakes were a racing mc, pads were different, sometimes the caliper was different depending on which 1125RR we are talking about, rotor and rotor mounting hardware were different. Head stock had adjustable collets, suspension was different front and rear... Geez... this list goes on and on. RR = purpose built race bike r = sport/street bike | ||

No, deck them, as in trim material off so you raise the compression ratio. Generally, one removes something like .005 to .020". It's not much. |
