Hey yall.Ok I got the bike 5 days ago.i also own an xb9 and wanted more top end.I lover the cr until I was parking yesterday.The bike was at idle and just shut off.I tried to restart it and had no power to any guages or lights.no electrical power at all.got the bike home put the batery from my other bike in and nuthin,saw that the fuse to the key switch was blown I changed it and still nuthin.Has anyone had anything like this happen before.Any help would be appriciated.Thanks for your time. | ||

If the same fuse keeps blowing, there is likely a wiring problem in the wire harness somewhere. It's possible that one wire somewhere has insulation worn to where the wire inside is touching a metal part of the frame or engine. Some likely places to carefully examine the wire's condition are around the steering head, handlebars and controls. Look to see if the wire harness moves around when you turn the handlebars full left and right. If so, check and see if any wires rub on the frame or other metal parts. That'd be a suspect area. | ||
