Anyone experience faulty readings on your air temp? Mine seems to be stuck on 119, but sometimes will drop down to the correct air temp but then jumps all over the place. It seems to make the bike run funny. It has no codes

The air temp sensor is located in between the radiators, so when the fans start blowing, it is normal for the sensor to read 119°F.

If you let the bike sit for a few hours, and check the temperature reading before starting up, it should roughly the same as the ambient temperature. If its not, then your sensor may be damaged or dirty.

Relocate IAT here, I done this over a year ago, no problems since and get much more accurate readings.

Some may argue that it's not reading actual intake air temps but that's only true at very low speeds under 5-10 mph. Above that the engine is sucking in fresh air.

IMO it should have been fitted there from the factory.
