It makes perfect sense!

The bigger the engine, the bigger the exhaust pipe you see.

Clearly, larger exhaust pipes are responsible for more power.

I bet that bike makes, like, 1500hp!

Harley owners confuse the correlation between noise and power. Ricers confuse the correlation between exhaust size and power. I bet that guy owns a Civic. : )

I strongly suspect I have a neighbor that could be sold that exhaust system.
His Harley spends more time running up and down his block and revving up in his driveway than it does on the road, and I believe that statement to be factual.
His bike has incredibly loud pipes.

No, they're converting gasoline to noise... horsepower is an annoying side effect.

Though I *did* learn that on the Blast, if I cut ignition for about half a second at partial to wide open throttle, I get one hell of a bang when it lights off again. : D
