I was at TWS last Sunday. Here is a short video of me recorded from my buddy's 675. As you'll see, I have room for improvement but I had fun none-the-less. As you also will be able to tell from the GoPro, TWS could use a good resurfacing!

It brings back memories to the 80's when I ran an SR500 there. TWS used to be a grand speedway with banking steeper than Daytona...

All tracks in Texas have a coarse and cut up surface, are bumpy, and are difficult to ride.

I don't remember the tar that much, honestly. I think there's a line through/around it that's not too bad.

Truthfully, the front straight is the worst part regarding tar snakes and though you can feel them, they really don't seem any worse in the heat. The track is just crappy in general and real crappy in a couple specific spots. It helps to find them during the round robin and avoid them or prepare for them during regular laps.
