Quick update on my RM Stator rewind,reduced output , varnish not epoxy coating.7000 km, 14.2 volts at 3000 rpm up both fans running.Voltage will drop to low 12s both fans running at long lights at idle but 2000 rpm will bring it back up to 13.4. Pulled stator cover last weekend to check clearances for oil jet project,nice even colour on stator no dark spots.Running switching RR with oil just under overfull line.

I have a contact in Rotax who is trying to get me the oiling drawings for the engine. The bad news is I live in a area that gets 40 plus feet of snow starting in about a month and lasts till April so testing is going to be a problem as I am trying to pack the miles on my RM Stator test

Stator working well as per past posts, but clutch now leaking Erik Buell Racing upgrade on the way.

How many miles on you stator so far? I have a gut feeling that you're onto something with your wind coating and gauge.

Just under 10000km,fixed clutch leak last night but weather and work bringing my riding season to a end any day now.
