Do you think H. D. is using up all the bad stator/ rotor parts before they come up with a fix or they just don't care?. almost three months with no bike. about three weeks due to my not being able to pickup.

haha, my bike had been in the shop for a 1.5 months now..and they have not found the problem! "electrical charging issue"
I pulled it out of one shop just to stun the next.
stator replaced
cluster replaced
harness replaced
voltage regulator replaced
and not all of this stuff was replaced at once = F***ed out of riding season!

When my bike was in for its second stator failure in may, I was told that HD had a different supplier for the new batch of stators that were coming in so they should be more reliable. I dont know if this is actually true or not, but one can hope.
