Bought some parts from a member on here whom had the misfortune of crashing his bike. To my surprise the box of goodies arrived a day early. I picked up an HMF exhaust, Aluminum foot pegs, and front and rear brake pads. I had to sand down and paint the muffler with some high temp ceramic paint due to brake fluid staining the powder coat and I think it turned out pretty good. The exhaust sounds amazing and is a bit on the loud side but you will here no complaints from me! I just need to send my Erik Buell Racing ECM in to get retuned and all will be great. For now it seems to run very strong and I can't wait for my Billet shift and brake foot levers to arrive tomorrow!

Careful starting that baby up early in the morning or late at night... you'll wake the whole neighborhood.

Yep, with often a nice bang on startup. I try to idle by police officers, but I haven't gotten any flack yet.

I just started the bike up for a harley owner I work with and his first comment was "It's louder than my HD!" I am going to look into some custom ear plugs this weekend. I will say that today was the first day I was not cut off while riding the bike to work.

It does help living in HD country (Wisconsin) so the loudness isn't that offensive to most people.

Well its basically just a straight pipe with a fiberglass surround. Not really much in the form of sound deadening.

HMF sells a quiet core but it's for the off road pipes; too restrictive for the 1125 pipe.
I got one that I may try to modify to be less restrictive but I'm not sure if I really want to fool with it.

Love my HMF... so does all my regular riding crew... they're egging me on to put it on a mobile dyno that travels around to organized show and shines in the area....
They want to hear it at full roar, I'm kind of interested to hear it too. Too bad it would cost $80...

Forgot to mention....
My neighbour uses my HMF as a secondary alarm clock. Kind of like a Snooze function on an alarm clock. I'm out the door at 7:15 am.. he originally complained about it after he moved in (I was here first, had the exhaust on the bike beforehand too), but has since warmed up to it for it's usefulness to him.. :-)

The pegs are LSL Billet and can be purchased at American Sportbike! Here is a link to the pegs and peg mounts.

Where did you get the decal for the side pod?

I am assuming the decal question is regarding the white bike. That is the stock decal for the 2010 1125R. Not sure if reproduction stickers are available but if you are interested I may be able to have some made in the exact font, color and size as original. I removed them off my bike as the bike looked too busy with them on there. Funny part is a friend of mine worked for Buell and designed those graphics.
