So riding bike and was getting low batt light at idle. When on throttle would spike up to 13 but came down fast once off it. Stopped at gas station and she wouldn't start.

Got new batt. Put it in and wired in the compufire VR I had ready to go in. Bike lost charge at all speeds.

Figured it ws the stator as I checked it when I got home and at 3000 rpm less than 5v across all legs.

Was about to pull it when I realized I was checking it using the harness. Did a check without the harness and @ 3000rpm it all seemed fine. 2legs in the 40s one in the 5s. Let the bike go back to idle once plugged in no harness and volts dropped again.

So pulled stator to take in tomorrow and realized I never checked the VR ground or resistance on the stator.

Anyways to check it now?
