My warranty is expiring on my 08 25R. It is in for it's third clutch weep fix right now. Aside from that the bike has been flawless.

It's $800 for a one year warranty, $1300 (I think) for two years.

Two bits of information are needed to help me decide:
1- Are the clutch weep fix parts easy enough to install myself? I enjoy wrenching a little and have a garage and tools. I have a small amount of experience, and just enough confidence to get me in trouble! I will routinely change oil and filter, do the brakes and take the wheels off for tire changes. I know I can come here if I have problems with it.

2- How much are the parts the dealer is putting in?

I expect the clutch will have several more replacements required while I own it. I am content to look at this "clutch weep" as just a quirk to live with.

Hunt down Brumbear on here, he has an aftermarket fix for the weep issue (i think) and very easy to do yourself.

Spend on a service manual and a few good tools then put the rest into gear beer suspension trackdays beer tires beer and so on

just asking; but if a clutch weep is your only problem and is being logged as fixed issue by HD, don't they have to warranty the clutch weep for a certain amount of time?

haha the dealer said my Rev. B. clutch weep parts cost $675.00. I have an 08 R that had the Rev A. cover. It was covered under warranty.

You don't have to do the cover every time.
The internal parts for the weep are around $120 or so.
