I just ordered a 11 Ranger. I gotta get a ramp to load the bike in for long trips!

Any reccomendations? Ive seen the suitcase 12" style. I like because its small and portable but you cant put your feet down on it.

I would recommend pulling into a ditch or something else where you can get the ramp to lay pretty flat

makes life a lot easier

I have an '02 Ranger that doesn't sit up high like the 4WD models do. I recently started taking the rear tailgate off and setting the ramp I use on the bumper to lower the Y dimension a few inches and it really helps.

The ramp I use is actually an ATV ramp I got at Harbor Freight Tools. It is a three section piece that spans the width of the bed and give the bike and person pushing it plenty of room.

This is the one I have. Cycle gear had it on sale when I bought it earlier this year.

I'm a fan of the ditch method. I've also used the ramps from local places. If you really load/unload bikes that many times, it's worth the $300. But if you only need a few times a year, that's a big investment. I'm sure you already have, but if you haven't, you should consider other options.

If you see mine on a truck, call the police; it's being stolen.

I only use it to load maybe twice a year for trips and god forbid a break down.

Ditch method is the way I get it done with single ramp. When you get good at it, you can find a suitable ditch just about anywhere ; )
