So I just installed the Compufire VR on my 1125R. I have a couple of questions for those who have it. When you are starting your bike, does it have a very slight hesitation while cranking? I noticed that after I put on the Compufire mine will do that. Next, I noticed that right after it cranks the volts jump to 15 and quickly (like the next split second) come down to 14.2 and remain there.

I have the compufire, haven't noticed anything like that with mine. Highest charge with a cold engine at initial startup is 14.7. Hovers there a bit, comes down to 14.5, 14.2, 14.0 mid 13's... no hesitation though. Do you trickle the battery on a tender?

Yes, I do run a battery maintainer on it when it's not in use. I'm only guessing on the 15v as I only have the LED charging display. It might only touch 14.7 like yours which could be enough to cause it to jump on the LED display. Guess I'll just keep an eye on it for now.
