Author Message   Dktechguy112 Posted on Thursday, July 21, 2011 - 10:13 pm:        I just got an FMF APEX, it looks great. Do I use the stock exhaust gaskets with the FMF? Someone said RTV silicone? Or do I just us the clamps that came with the FMF?   Mikellyjo Posted on Friday, July 22, 2011 - 12:07 am:        Hey Dktech...I did not use the stock gaskets, I don't think you even can. I just slipped the pipe on while it as cold and tightened up the clamps...No leaks to date.   Buellrider66 Posted on Friday, July 22, 2011 - 02:10 am:        Use a high temp silicone (Permatex Ultra Copper) to seal any potential leaks.
