On my '08 R I noticed today the flash rate was high on the right side. So I figured one of the turn signals went out. The front is working fine. The rear is not, however the rear signal is blinking, but it is very very dim. Dim enough that the cluster doesn't think its functional. Is that what these turn signals due when they finally crap out, or am I looking for something else?

On led's that is how they "burn out". They don't go completely out. They just go very dim. So to answer your question yes it's time to replace.

My service manual doesn't show a part#. But I know there is someone on this site that has the parts manual with the part#. I'm sure if you ask nicely they will help out.

Hey thanks for the part number, I really appreciate it. I got the monster ordered today from the local stealership. The funny thing is I got a quote for my 12400 mile service (this time after they gave me the wrong quote again, I walked them through the service manual to show them what had to be done) and the service guy was really impressed that I had that many miles. I just laughed, they must think we don't ride these bikes or something.
