My clutch started weeping a couple of days ago but that is not the part that's irritating. It's the fact my bike is 15 days out of warranty when it started.

Oh well, off to order my fix kit.

I would try taking to the dealer to see if they can coax the MoCo into a goodwill fix. Not like this is an uncommon problem. You could also plead your case that you racked up the overage miles on your way to the dealer to get it fixed ; )

I'd still have the dealer take a look, it shouldn't be an issue to cover it only 2 weeks out of warranty.

Murphy's Law at its best. I'm with the other guys. Bring a plate of cookies to the Service Department, extend your lower lip and see if they'll cover things for you.

...or I can pay you back for that beverage you bought me in East Troy to help fund things!

H-D covered everything for my clutch weep repair including a REV B cover. This was about 2 weeks ago. My 2008 1125r was out of warranty by a year and a half (jan 2010). Call H-D customer service and ask for Peter, he will take care of you.

I talked to HD customer service today. They said they could help me out. I've made an appointment at the dealer, and they and HD will be working this out.
