So In my time browsing the web, I came across a helmet that really caught my attention. Apparently this helmet has a small mirror based apparatus that is inside the helmet. It has a big opening in the outer shell of the helmet which draws light from the outside and projects it on the small mirror type on the inside of the helmet. Just thought if anyone had a comment about this helmet.

Had one of these for a couple of years, excellent solution to the problem of poor mirrors on Sportsbikes, I use it when go-kart racing as well.

I would recommend anyone to take a serious look at this helmet.

dirty_john - how did you get used to the view of objects coming towards you and also going away from you in your peripheral vision ?

MCRbuelligan - with a sportbike riding position to make any real use of the mirror/image you have to momentarily flick your head up a little so the image you see is not of the sky but the road behind you. With a "normal" riding position you see all that is behind all of the time, it only took minutes to get used to seeing what is behind you as well as the view in front. You can consciously tune out the rear view when you don't need it.
It is interesting to see what is behind in the helmet view and then look at your bike's mirrors and appreciate just how much more info the helmet view system provides - It was a good laugh at a recent go-kart endurance race I knew just when to block and steal the best lines at the start of each race as faster karts attempted to overtake. again I can't recommend this helmet highly enough, it never gets reviewed in the likes of MCN for the obvious reasons.

And what are the obvious reasons?

It isn't DOT nor Snell, so it isn't legal to wear in the US, so they are pretty hard to find without buying overseas. Good luck finding a cop that knows that though : )

Thanks everyone for your input, I'm still shopping around for a helmet just thought it was a cool idea.
