Not really having starting problems but I couldn't bear to have another "system voltage" thread title.

Well thats my problem. When I hit the starter it usually flashs this "system voltage" message for like one split second. Always starts. Initial batt voltage before hitting starter is 12.8+ typically. Runs great. Always charging 13.2 or greater.

Anyone else see this when starting?

Do I have an excessive voltage drop when starting?

For those that have followed my other issues: custom rewind stator working well, OEM R/R working well. Battery is new. Waiting to hear from compufire and their thoughts on R/R frying.

Oh one more thing. When I turn the bike on a look at the BATT it is initially 12.8 or higher and then it plummets if I look at it for 10 seconds or whatever.

Thanks, todd

I do occasionally see the system voltage or comm error for a moment when starting if my battery was weak, like if its been sitting for a while. It still starts fine, so its nothing I've ever worried about.

I occasionally get that message as well, after it's been sitting for a wile off of my tender. No biggie.
