Does anyone know if there's a mirror block off / turn signal available for the 1125r's?

Have a pair of these right now:
http://cgi.ebay.ca/LED-FLUSH-MOUNT-TURN-SIGNAL-CBR -600-1000-RR-F4I-RC51CB-/380340834270?pt=Motorcycl es_Parts_Accessories&hash=item588e148fde#ht_4816wt _1002

But my mounting isn't professional at all, and I don't have fab skills or tools to create something that could combine the 2 (Block off and signal).

Anyone with fab skills think they can make something like this? Matching the curve of the base plate to the fairing is proving to be a bit problematic.

Later!

Here's what i did:

It's tight - the posts on the signals are *just* barely long enough. It's been a year and they work OK. I wish they were brighter.

They were for a CBR 1000 iirc - let me see if i can find hte link again.

no drilling, no mod except splicing them in (used the same connectors so no change to harness).

GL!

there is a very small crescent you can see of one of the mounting holes at the front.

Here's two pics that may help you see it:

sorry for hogging up the thread - i'm sure there other options. I just wasn't willing to glue down or drill...

Thanks for your help guys...
I guess I was just hoping for something that would also cover up the odd moulding of the fairing where the original bug stalks connected. Wanted something to be all pretty and nice like.. :-)

Might just go and bite the bullet tonight and pick up a pair of the Hot Bodies signals ($45 + taxes locally)... *sigh*

Tim - found another site that sells them for less:

http://www.vendio.com/stores/discountmotorcyclepar ts.info/item/motorcycle-parts-lighting/new-hot-bod ies-honda-flush-mou/lid=3847648

Also - read the R1 signals work:
http://www.amazon.com/00-06-Yamaha-YZFR1-Mirror-Si gnals/dp/B000UO6E88

Thread here:

Good luck - if you try the R1 signals please post pics! I'm tempted on those if they are brighter and don't need any mods to work.

Ended up with the HotBodies ones.
Drilled some holes in my old R6 mirror block offs (bought them when I had my old FZ6R) mounted the new lights to the block offs with epoxy, added some length to the wires so they'd reach the stock connectors and away I went.
I'll see about taking some photos later and posting them up.
Still think it would be cool if someone could fab up something like this though:

Only photoshopped up the one side on an old photo I had kicking around.

It's a QUICK photochop... I was thinking about something that's maybe 2 inches wide or so... my chop makes them look a whole lot longer I realize... sorry 'bout that...
