I'm thinking of selling my 1125 Drummer but I can't figure out what it's worth. There's only a couple threads in the classifieds for it and they either never tell you what the asking price was, or it turns into a bidding war and folks get pissed, so I'd like to avoid the bidding thing to keep people happy.

It's in fine shape - I have no idea how many miles are on it, a few thousand or so. I made a quiet insert for it than can come out, only modification was a small hole drilled in the side of the outlet which can't be seen unless you're on your hands and knees. No scrapes or dings, never bottomed out, stored indoors, yadda yadda.

I forget what I paid for it... something near $1000 I think. Any ideas on what it's worth?

Tell you what. I want to buy one and if the price is over $650 then I would just go for a new one instead. I am sure there is someone on here that would pay more so list it for $800 and say OBO. It probably depends on how bad you want to get rid of it.

I bought mine used from twinmotorcycles for 350 euro's it was in like new condition as they had used it for dyno runs only. Its a great pipe, I would be interested to see some pics of the quiet insert you made and how much quieter it made the bike sound, reason is for the yearly inspection I have to put the original on as the drummer is too loud, so the insert would be great for that.

Sorry to Hijack this thread...
Buellrain, Twin Motorcycles should have the quite core for the Drummer. I sent it to Them with the exhaust, maybe he'll sell it to you. If not you can get one direct from
kdfabrications It's a neat little gadget.
Back to the original post.. It's worth what you're willing to sell it for..
