I have an '09 Cali. edition 1125R. I know I have the charcoal canister on my bike. What are the other differences in the bike from the 49 state to euro. ect... HP; trq; and that stuff.

No measurable power difference between CA/49 state/EU bikes. French bikes have a different throttle body, restricts to 100hp.

One more reason to sneer at the French? I think so.

Do you need another reason to sneer at the French?

So with a race exhaust and K&N air filter and with the FI controller I would benefit from a non-cali ECU? Till I can afford one from Erik Buell Racing.

Sneer at the French? - continuously - Waterloo, Trafalgar, Agincourt to name but a few.

Having just changed the engine on a Citroen Saxo car I now sneer at them even more for their lack of design sense in providing adequate access.
