Anyone have any input regarding a good Buell 1125 servicing dealer in the NYC area?

Danbury in CT or Liberty in NJ are your best bets.

New York City Harley in Long Island City is an authorized Buell servicing dealer... but I haven't been all that crazy about them. Danbury and Liberty are both BadWeb sponsors if you don't mind paying tolls and crossing bridges. Another option is NewRoc Harley/Buell in New Rochelle. I don't THINK they're BadWeb sponsors... but they've taken very good care of me in the past when I've needed them.

The nice thing about Liberty is they are right in front of the NJ train.

None of my bikes have ever made it to the New Roc service department, I gave them a few chances but I didn't feel like waiting 3 weeks for an appointment to have it even looked at, vs Danbury usually at worst is backed up 2 weeks. It all depends on the season but Danbury has taken my bike in unannounced a few times and gotten my work done same day. I had a few bad experiences with the parts department at New Roc, and their service guys didn't give me a good vibe.

New Roc is easy to get too assuming you have 4 wheel transportation, they are right off I-95. According to Google, it is a little over a mile walk from the train station, so on a nice day taking a train isn't a big deal.

My one experience with NewRoc was when I was heading up there for one of their free Sunday BBQs. On the way I hit an oil patch on a badly rippled piece of asphalt as I was slowing for a red light. I lost the front and couldn't quite hold up the bike and had to let it fall. Even a simple drop like that snapped off the right side footpeg.

I managed to get to NewRoc and told them my tale of woe. Jack (the owner) had his own Buell in the shop, so he had them pull the footpeg off his bike and put it on mine, and then charged me his cost to replace his. As far as I'm concerned, that was one of the better deals I'd ever gotten, especially since they did have me over a barrel and could've REALLY taken advantage of me.

But Danbury is the only shop that was able to get me in and out in one day for a simple tire change. EVERYBODY else (including NewRoc) wanted me to leave the bike. WTF?? For a TIRE CHANGE??? It was worth it to me to do a 150 mile day (and lunch at the Applebee's across the street) to go to Danbury than to leave it with anyone and try to figure out how to get home, and then how to get back to pick it up.

Thanks for all the responses.
For me it would be the easiest to use Liberty, although no one has chimed in on any experiences there.
My one experience with Liberty was when the Ulysses first came out and I went to test ride one. The salesman took me on an hour long test ride through some decent back roads at a decent clip. I was surprised to find such a hardcore group of Buell loyalists. They really believed in Buell's design and engineering. That was really refreshing after coming from HD in LIC (NYC) where they couldn't give a rats ass what was going on with Buell.
BTW, freakin lovin' my new to me CR

Liberty has a VERY good reputation amongst Bad Webbers... I believe Court takes his bikes there for service. It's just too far away for me for it to be practical.

I had my old 2006 XB12Ss autographed there by "The Man" himself!

When I bring it in I will report my experience.
