Does anyone have feedback or experiences with Buell services through Chicago area HD dealers? I'm in the southwest suburbs of Chicago, so looking for good service experiences in that area or service to watch out for.

Ask for Brad at Woodstock Harley. They've worked exclusively on my 2009 1125CR

Don't go to wildfire harley they are clueless. I had the speed sensor error and I told them what it was brought the proof from here that its common. Took my bike in 3 times before they replaced the speed sensor.

I did get a 2009 cluster on my 2008 though so I now have the gear indicator.

I also had to show them how to pull the codes from our bike.

I take my bike 90 miles to Hal's in New Berlin, WI. That's what I think of Chicago area dealerships.

Anyone have any luck with independents working on his/her 1125 ?

Also, if you haven't already, buy all the manuals NOW.

If you can read and you actually care about the work you do, you're a better mechanic than you're likely to run across. Even if you're not, you can loan the manuals to a careful non-Buell mechanic. He or she will do much better work with instructions.

I haven't been too happy with Wild Fire for another bike I brought there. I use Chicago but I heard Uke's is good too. I do almost all my own work unless under warranty/recall.
