I got the Barker exhaust and Erik Buell Racing ecu coming. I wanted to know if a K&N filter will be a good addition to the bike or run a stock filter?

The K&N is nice for it's reusability, but I don't think you'll get a performance gain out of it.

I am looking for some power increase for money spent. Is the stock one able to be cleaned?

Don't waste your money on the air filter, and those bulbs are junk too. If you want to improve lighting, get a HID kit from DDM Tuning.

Hey it looks like they have lights again! What is the consensus on the best kit for a CR?

Are these the right bulbs for the marker lights?
194/T10 LED, 4 x 3028 LED, White

I have a couple and cant get them to work, didn't try hard, I was ready to ride.

and the 3000K HIDS gets noticed on a Red R, very well.

I respectfully disagree.. I bought similar ones for my R and think they're superb.

I then bought similar ones for my Jag, my ZX9R, my Lucida and my wife's car.

All of them significantly improved the light output and the actual "look" of the vehicles.

Total cost for all sets was less than one HID kit.

In terms of VFM they're superb.

Had the bulbs in the R for almost a year now and still going strong..

My 1125r made more power than the Erik Buell Racing Mule dyno bike. With the Barker and a kn.
I can't say for sure it was the KN or just my bike was less over worked.
Mine has had a kn since 9 miles

+2 For ddm tunning Hid's aswell great light and low $$$
