Each year, I host a hog roast BBQ for UKBEG members at my home, and its numbers grow each year (possibly the 2nd biggest gathering of Buelligans in the UK) and I would like to lead a ride out to Caernarvon where, I think, the type of 2 stroke motor that Erik used to race were built at some time. Does anyone know the actual address of the factory, because it it would be cool to do a mini pilgrimage there? - it's about an hours ride from my gaff. Court, Dave, Annony?

I think you mean Barton Engineering in Caernarfon. Barry Hart was the guy that Suzuki ripped off and although he got an out of court settlement the cost of pursuing it cost him his business.

Erik bought the engineering equipment from him...

As an aside, did you know that David Essex's "Silver Dream Machine" had a Barton engine...

It was in the news this week, they've recovered it from Germany and refurbished it for the red carpet event for some new movie about bike racing.

Davis Essex was there LOL
