I took this pic during a break from riding. I will admit I haven't noticed this before. For all i know this has always been this way. But if this isn't a normal amount of movement I would like to know. I was able to push the belt over the rest of the way on the pulley with my hands another thing that seemed possibly wrong. But, this being my first Buell, and first Belt drive i just don't know enough about it. Checked it again when I got home and belt stayed put on the pulley. Less than 10K on the belt, and it still looks new. should I have any reason for concern?

I saw a post on here not long ago that mentioned that the belt label/logo printing should be 'right side up' when you look down at it - top of letters to the inside. The lay up of the belt makes it "walk" to the inside of the pulley. Double check belt orientation is correct (?) - not sure that's the issue, but it's easy to check if you can still read it.

Must be an Australian model that got stuck here by mistake. Bad things can happen.

yeah, what striz said.
you should be able to read the white writing on the belt looking at from the left side.

That's fine, mine is exactly the same, the belts are NOT directional, just personal preference on which way you prefer the lettering.

put a new belt on mine...blew out the rear wheel bearings (Orange grease seals) - might want to keep an eye on the wheel brgs if they're not the upgraded 3 bearing design...good luck

If you back the bike up, then the belt will walk off the pulley some. I've never seen mine move away from the pulley without backing it up first.

Bueller4ever....I backed it into that spot when I parked... I bet that is why it moved. Glad that this is normal Thanks everyone for the info.
