You might find that your meter will not respond to the relatively intermittent peaks produced at idle and gives a false low reading. Make sure you measure with the motor in the 4-5K range unless you have a very fast peak reading meter. | ||

ok i was way off.... at and idle its 103 ish and the 4-5 k range is 109ish... pretty loud..... | ||

Uh, yea, that's loud. At 2 feet, that's pretty close, but you are still looking at driving by someone's house on a neighborhood street in the suburbs, figuring a 30-ft set back and a 10ft lane, at somewhere in the mid-90s (if I did my math right), and wow, that's like a rock concert going through the neighborhood. In town, it would be ridiculous. | ||
