Guys,
Just recieved my BARKER exhaust, but not the Erik Buell Racing ecm yet.
Will there be a problem if i ride the bike with the BARKER only, until i recieve my Erik Buell Racing ecm?
Thanks

I had no problems at all. Rode about 6K miles until I got the ECM.

I'm in the same boat. Just got my Barker's and am waiting for the ecm's to be back in stock. Erik Buell Racing said they will be in next week.

For me the Barker exhaust without the ECM had a better sound at idol. But with the ECM you will be letting the Tiger out of the cage to feed : )

Yeah around town you will really notice a difference on a lower RPM roll on....the lean popping isn't bad at all suprisingly. all in all the stock ECM does okay with the Barker.

if you roll off the throttle at high rpm it will pop.
if you cruise at 5o mph in 3 rd or 4 th
you will likely get a check engine light for f and r Fuel imbalance.
I put about 3k on mine before i went to Erik Buell Racing and had my bike tuned with the ebr race ecm.
Enjoy the map the Erik Buell Racing guys did good.

If you take a good look at the American Sport Bike exhaust shoot out, you will notice that the Barkers was way above all of the other aftermarket cans with the stock ECM. It also posted the best overall performance increase across the measured RPM range regardless of ECM. I am still running my stock can, but am thinking real hard about getting one of these. I just need to hear one in person.
