I'm thinking about getting a GPR damper for my 1125R. Can someone who has done it describe the installation process? How big a deal is it, do I need any special tools, etc.

Thanks.

Here is the instructions, not Buell specific, but it looks pretty straight forward.

Thanks, Froggy. I looked at the PDF. What I was actually more curious about was that I think I read someone on here talking about the frame mount being tricky and I was hoping someone could speak about that.

Just curious, but does installing the damper scratch the face of the triple clamp?

I can't speak for the GPR but the Scotts damper does scratch the triple. The good news is once you put on the damper you'll never want to take it off so you'll never see any scratches.

Just did one and it is very easy--just wish the guys specing fasteners on the Buell would make up their minds on metric or American instead of BOTH!!!
Steering stem is American, fork clamp bolts are metric, have to loosen both. Need a BIG socket to install stem nut that comes with kit.
