Anyone else have a fan go from the normal loud FTL drive spin down to super high probably threw a bearing and sounds terribad loud?

I was at a stopsign and it just started buzzing really loudly, rode it home.

called into MoCo HD to give em a heads up, dropping it off friday.

However, I havent had to deal with a stator or any other "bad" things... so i consider myself lucky at 7100 miles to just have a fan fail on me

Anyone else have one fail?

Yes, my fans quit running. A cel shows up on the speedometer. In this case, it was because the VR died and cooked some of the wiring. Dealer fixed some of it, but this showed up later.

Yes, my Firebolt fan went bad at 15k miles. I replaced it. American Sportbike sells them.
