HELLO EVERYONE! DUMB QUESTION TIME. HOW IN THE HECK DOES THAT BATTERY COME OUT OF THE ASS OF MY BIKE? EVERY BRACKET IS WELDED TO THE FRAME AND THERE ARE RELAYS AND A WONDERFUL CROSS-MEMBER RIGHT ON TOP OF THE DAMN THING. GOT NEW BATTERY BUT FIGURED IT WOULD LOOK KINDA WEIRD HAVING IT STRAPPED TO THE BACK SEAT! ANY HELP IS MUCH APPRECIATED! HAPPY NEW YEAR!

goes down towards the motor. it's a very very tight fit. the rubber band has to come all the way off and if you have the cali can i believe it has to be removed as well

Took me forever to figure that puzzle out. I believe I moved the fuse box out of the way also to assist in the removal.

Did you remove the tail fairing?

I think you have to cut it in half to get the old one out....

Seriously, remove the plastic from the tail section, remove the rubber band from the batt., remove the cables, pop the cover off the fuse box, then wiggle it out. Install in reverse order.

Yep, just took mine out. I had to take off the plastics covering the sub-frame (easy removal) and the fuse box cover and the rubber strap. After that, it came out pretty easy. Now, if it goes in as easily????

yes it is a little tricky getting back over fuse box, but it does slide in there. Have a beer and relax and it will work.
