The drawing for the Erik Buell Racing coffee mugs is complete and the 4 (out of 85 entries received)winning forum members have been drawn from my hat(Isle of Man TT hat), by my unbiased co-worked. I took some phone pics to capture the moment, but am unable to upload them to my computer due to security issues.

The 4 winners, in order drawn are:
#1 Kevinjgray88
#2 RidenUSA4l
#3 Poppawheelie
#4 Extreme6669

The 4 prizes are 3 Erik Buell Racing coffee mugs and 1 book (Sportbike Suspension Tuning, by Andrew Trevit). In order drawn, the winners will get to choose if they want the book or a mug. If the number 1 guy elects a mug, the #2 guy will get to choose and so on.
I will pm each winner for their choice and mailing address. I ask that winners provide the info as soon as possible.

All winners have replied and Kevin has claimed the book. All other winners will receive an Erik Buell Racing coffee mug.

I am still waiting for Ride to email his mailing address. As soon as I get that, I will try and get these packaged up and in the mail.

I ask all winners to be patient, as I am at an overseas military APO address and mail take a lot longer.

I now have all addresses. I will package everything up over the holiday weekend and get them in the mail next week. Sorry I didn't start the "contest" a few weeks earlier, so that you could get them by Christmas. I just didn't have the idea then.

Gents,

All packages were mailed last week. You should receive them this week, or early next week latest.

In hindsight, I should have labeled the original thread "Giving back to the US Postal Service", instead of "Giving back to the forum". They soaked my for $10 to mail 2 of the single coffee mugs and just over $8 for the other. As I anticipated in my original post, there is much more tied up in shipping, than the mugs are worth.

Regardless, I am happy to have done this and hope each winner enjoys their prize.

Nick, thanks for the offer, but that isn't where I was going with my mild rant about USPS shipping charges. I just think that USPS shipping charges are ridiculous, coupled with the fact that they are losing money hand-over-fist, I really believe they should be privatized, but that is a discussion for another forum.

On a lighter note, make sure and let us all know when you get your mug and how you like it.

Sorry to hear that. I kept them in small boxes to try to keep the shipping costs down, but figured they would be ok. Hindsight, with as much as they cost to ship, I may as well have put them in a bigger box.
If I had another, I would send you one, but I only ordered 4, and I sent the 3 extras to you guys.
