Owners manual has it.

If you didn't get a paper copy with your bike, there should be a soft copy attached to the top of the forum.

Anything beyond the instrument cluster information requires an external computer hooked to the data port, and digital technician (or similar) software.

Entering and Exiting the Setup Menu

-------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------

NOTES:

The setup menu cannot be accessed when the engine is running.
The setup menu terminates if the vehicle is started, the ignition key is turned to OFF, or no user input is made for 60 seconds.
Turn ignition key to ON.

If the security system is armed, enter the correct PIN to disarm. See Disarming the Security System.

See Entering and Exiting the Setup Menu. Press and hold both the Toggle and Mode switches for five seconds until SETUP MENU is displayed.

Click the Mode switch to advance through the menu items. Press the Toggle switch to select a desired menu item.

To exit the setup menu, click to Mode switch until TOGGLE TO EXIT is displayed. Click the Toggle switch to exit.

Nilla - wtf?
I access Setup or Diagnostic while running the engine.
You can also access either in Park mode, no headlights so it's easier on the battery; can't run the motor there tho...

Both drop out as soon as motion is detected by speed sensor.

You can disconnect the VSS and ride around in diagnostic mode.

Otherwise spot-on.

Onboard Diagnostic Information System (ODIS)

-------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------

The message area (4) along the bottom of the LCD screen has two lines of digital text. This area displays operational data, configuration menus, and messages for other various features available through the instrument cluster.

Refer to General LCD Screen Messages for a number of general messages that may be displayed during vehicle operation.

NOTE:

If diagnostic messages indicate error or malfunction conditions, see a Buell dealer for assistance.
