anyone have a new stator installed AFTER the harness "upgrade" and then have the new stator fail?

I remember the thread with Erik Buell Racing tech people chiming in (maybe an anony post) and they suggested that they have not seen a stator that has actually failed. Some have apparently been replaced when maybe they didnt need to be.

I have a new R/R, new stator and the harness.... I wonder if I am solid for a long trip?

my second stator failed, but apparently "the connectors were loose" or so the story was tlod to me.
all i did was put gas in it and twist the go stick, so i know that it wasn't my fault.

There are stories of dealerships installing the harness wrong.
