Just wrung the last little bit out of the Pilot 2CT I had on the back, and put on the Power Pure I've had in the garage for a few months. Seems maybe a bit quicker, hard to tell, but it does seem different as far as how it deals with bumps. Seems to soak em up a bit better. (Pure's claim to fame is that it is super light.)

Handles more or less just like the Power 2CT, same profile and behavior.

Which is to say AWESOME!!!

Is there anything better than a new set of tires??

Anybody else out there run the Power Pures yet?

I have not tried the Power Pures, but I just put a set of Pilot Power 2cts on my 1125, and I am very impressed. I never had any complaints with the handling of the Diablos, but the Pilot Powers are great. I am especially impressed with the front end feel.

Like you said "Nothing like a new set of tires"

i have the pures on for about 2k miles now on my CR. found the turn in was slow so put an extra 2 psi in f&r. that totally transformed the bike.
however they are far better than the stock pirelli's which i would not use again.

got pilot road 2 ct's on my xbScg, and they are similar feel. more stable in the corner than the pirelli's

I always ran the Corsa III on my Lightning..Couple of weeks ago I spooned on a set of Q2's...They are astounding tires. The grip is at least as good as the Pirellis and the turn in is so much better it feels like the bike lost weight. They have excellent feedback and the front stays firmly planted when trail braking.

I have a set on now, wish they came when the bike was new! What pressures are you running? I love the confidence they give you.

I'm a bit heavy, around 255 ready to ride, so I'm running around 39/41 F/R. Love em.
