Check out James Gang/Hoban Bros Racing photos, we have been using them on our 1125R's. For the endurance racing, they served their purpose : )

Do they clear the pods or do you have to shave them?

Tpoppa: They're a tight fit but I didn't have to shave them. Just carefully wedged them in place. Set it and forget it!

I received my pair earlier this week. Ordered from Latus Motors. They told me that they would be shipped from the warehouse in seven days. From what I'd been reading on here, I expected to be getting an e-mail telling me that they were no longer available. Instead I received an e-mail confirming that they had been shipped. Just a little note to Canadian's $28.49 and $28.45 US beats the crap out of paying $50.00 each CAD

Now I hope they will cover the ding in the frame : (

If so Geico wont total the bike...I still dont understand that theory. Anyway these just might save my CR from being parted scrapped.

Cross my fingers.

Frame damage is a HUGE liability. Usually the insurance company will not take chances and will total it out. The cost of a frame replacement is $1300+ labor, so you already have half the bikes value right there anyway.

Pete, have you talked to them to try and get them to "waive" the dent in the frame but cover the rest of the damage?

I am trying to get an allowance...he mentioned that the frame cost $1300 plus about $1000-1500 labor in labor to replace it.

the saga continues

We have several sets in stock now, and more ordered, see http://www.americansportbike.com/shoponline/ccp0-p rodshow/17125.html . They don't come with the primer now, but a good wipe down with Lacquer thinner is all that is really needed.

Pete, do you have any pics of the dent? Tell them to waive your deductible and you'll be able to "live" with the dent ; )

I ordered a set from you the second I saw they were in stock. Funny, I looked that morning hoping you had some only to see that there where none in stock. Then just a few hours later BAM... Back in stock!

thank you very much for your fast service.

I think thats the plan Blur...If i can get the guy to answer the phone. Going on two month since the wreck and I just got a letter in the mail saying they still have not got an estimate on cost of repair yet!

This crap is pissing me off.

So are they back in production? As in, the pair isn't available as an accessory, but each side is available as a replacement part?

Anthony -
Never were "out of production", H-D just obsoleted the kit.
They've always been available individually.
