are the 2 o-rings in the middle correctly built in?
Number 16 an 17 shown false on the service manual!
http://lh4.ggpht.com/_TKw5SXPdSvA/TH8mDGpMUOI/AAAA AAAAC_s/cPwtFonOEyc/s800/Pazzo%2011.jpeg

These 2 o-rings are not correctly drawn ( in real they look different), this 2 parts has to be changed, right cause if not the ring get scrubbed and the clutch will be draining again....

I got this information from a buell dealer in germany! (The best is if the dealer open the clutch cover and all parts will be built in as the original was, not if shown on the picture...)

Those are the Piston seals and they are updated in the revised X2086.1AM kit. This kit includes an updated Piston, sleeve and all the necessary seals.

The new part numbers are (note you have to have the new piston and sleeve to use these part numbers):

CR0001.3AM PISTON LINING, 22X17,8X4,0
CR0002.3AM PISTON LINING, 41X36,8X4,0

And no they don't look like the picture in the drawing.

Either I'm crazy or its leaking AGAIN. This is the fourth time. Something else is wrong, it has to be.

I'll be taking it in tomorrow and this may very well turn into a lemon law thing if we don't come up with a more constructive next step. Oregon states three times to fix a problem in good faith, a fourth recurrence gives me the right to invoke the lemon law, so we'll see what happens.

I don't want trouble, I just want my CR to not have clutch leaks. Hell if it comes down to it I'll get another one in a heartbeat. I love the bike, I don't love the clutch leaking like a sieve. Fix that and I'm happy.

Not a fan of this hydraulic clutch business. Could they not use a typical clutch setup?

I have become a big fan of the hydraulic clutch since riding Loretta for the last 3 years.
Cable clutch on the Uly feels clunky compared to Loretta.

@Levor - they have to be doing something wrong.
This kit really works when done right, maybe you have a different failure mode that hasn't been seen yet.
If your leak isn't the same as my leak was ....

Still waiting on picking up my reworked sleeve but I've just got a set of seals through the post. Can someone confirm that the replacement 'O' ring that sits under the spherical nut is coloured green? The one I removed was black and I've not got them in my workshop to compare sizes.

@Zac4mac - See the first time I was inclined to believe maybe an install problem... but this... three times in a row? Thats hard to believe. I dunno. I just can't buy that as an explanation because of the whole "this is the third time, better make damn sure I'm doing it RIGHT" mentality that HAS to be rolling around over there.

Anyways, we'll see. This is getting on my nerves. I just want my damn clutch working. A continual weep would have been fine, but no... it went from dry to full sieve again and again

It's been 8 weeks now and my 2010 CR has finally had its clutch fixed ...

... I wonder how long it will last ?

Things... escalated... I guess you could say when my clutch started leaking for the FOURTH time apparently. Lets just say surprise clutch engagements are a bad day. Even worse when the clutch won't disengage.

They're taking things a bit more seriously now.

Joining the club. Got my CR last October and put only 1000 miles on it this summer. Yesterday I went to take it out for one last autumn ride and had no clutch.
