Where is this DDM How To? I have been searching and searching using the google search function of this site and I haven,t come up with much in regards to help. I have an 1125"CR" There is this sport twin article that uses Starrotors HID and installs in into an 1125R http://www.sporttwin.com/index.php?/topic/19311-in stalling-hids-on-an-1125r/ With the CRs, the high and low beams are the same, but different. There is supposedly a HOW TO for how to grind the bulb or something. There is a tech article forum, that is basically empty, except for the cobWEBs. Would someone help me out find a tutorial on installing the CR HIDs with the bulb holder mod? | ||

I've never heard of the bulb holder mod, but I was under the impression that as long as you ordered H7 bulbs, it was a simple installation. I replaced my CR's low-beam with an H7 HID from DDM and it was as simple as can be. I haven't done the high-beam yet, so maybe that's where you need to modify something? **Edit** I think this is the post you were hoping to find: http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/290431/535426.html?1265000213 It has a low and high beam HID install on a CR, and I see now what you mean about the bulb holder mod. Thanks, and yes thats part of what I am looking for. I might do my own how to with better pics and instructions. Well thanks for the info, look forward to my post monday or tuesday. | ||

Can anyone verify if the stock bulb will still fit in the holder once it is modified? I may want to put in my stock bulb for the High beam. |
