Even managed to do it with minimal swearing and cursing. No "left over" parts and no bleeding knuckles either. It's a miracle!

Only drawback was there wasn't enough clearance between the top of the plate and the plate light to allow me to continue using my licence plate frame.

Jaimec - How are you liking your Corbin saddle?

Danny: Once I got the damned thing to fit (thanks to hints from Al Lighton even though I didn't buy it through him) I love it. A LOT more comfortable than the stock saddle though this is no touring mount by any stretch of the imagination.

By the way, I'm sure everyone noted I left the side reflectors intact. I know it's in vogue here to lose them altogether but they do make convenient bungee hook anchors. I'm going to have to modify the license plate bracket a bit so they fit properly. I'll need a friend to assist me with that since it will involve power tools and drilling into the billet.

Do they have that seat in other colors?

If you want to deal with Corbin, just give them a call. They'll make the seat in any colors or materials you want (as long as its in their catalog).

Just do yourself a favor first... use the search function here and look up "Corbin" to see the reputation they have...

Danii: What part are you asking about? The "Tail Tidy" from American Sport Bike, or the Corbin saddle?

Jaimec-
Do the stock turn signals work with the "tail tidy" license plate mount or did you have to buy some from American Sport Bike?

Bumblebee-
Those running lights on the side of your plate look real clean. Nice job, though the whole setup screams to be pulled over by the PoPo in Houston

The tail tidy, Jaimec. I looked and couldn't tell which part / kit you used.

Daniii: Jrfitzny linked to the correct part in the American Sport Bike catalog.

Jrfitzny: The stock turn signals bolt directly onto the tail tidy. They'd fit BETTER if I'd omitted the side reflectors (and I may either remove them, or do a little modification to the billet piece so I can keep them). Also, the license plate light from the stock tailpiece fits right in as well.

It was for those above reasons that I chose this part instead of the cheaper alternative.

I didn't like the look of the naked license plate, and after giving it some thought decided to remove the side reflectors. Here it is with the American Sport Bike CF License Plate frame installed:
