Hi folks. Just wanted to know if anybody knows the difference between the stock forks on a 1125r and the 25mm cartridge that Erik Buell Racing sells. Thanks!

A whole lot. The 25mm carts are a huge upgrade over the performance of the OEM bits.

And what is the part(s) than measure 25mm?
My forks need to be serviced/rebuilt and since I'm changing the color of the frame, I would like to change the forks to the black ones with the 25mm kit Erik Buell Racing has.

The kit replaces the internal dampers, and it's a huge upgrade in feel of the forks.

How exactly is the e b r kit better? I don't doubt that they're an improvement but the stock parts seem pretty good already. I've got them dialed in where I'm happy with them.

They are a huge improvement if you are a racer or a track day junkie. I think for most street riders, the stock forks works greak

I can't recall where I read a review on the E_B_R fork cartridges, but the reviewer's opinion that they would not be recommended for street riding. These are RACE PARTS, designed for race track speeds and valved accordingly. Same thing with the rear Showa race shock also from E_B_R, these are designed as a matched kit.
