What I found out is by pushing the left side of the right mirror and right side of the left mirror all the way in till it contacts the inside of the housing it stop a lot of the vibes, then I cut a small pieace of black rubber and inserted it at the top and bottom of the mirror. This stop most of the vibes untill I got above 6000 rpm . Then I turned the whole unit against the brake and clutch resivor. this helps with the vibes also.

Sounds good. Before I replaced my mirrors I did this which completely stopped the vibration. It didn't help with the mirror location but it stopped the vibration.

My left one doesn't vibrate at all and the right one vibrates at all rpm's.I'm gonna give your fix a try.
