All floating rotors have some "play". The front end clunk has been heavily discussed although, it has been awhile. Short story for mine is; don't worry about it, it is in the fork design. Apparently a plastic part inside the fork has a tendency to move. | ||

There would have to be a lot of play between the rotor and spacers for there to be a noticeable anything. | ||

Eaton: If you read the post you'd realize that he is just using the front wheel off a Buell...not the forks...that's why this is interesting. It rules out the forks for this particular noise. | ||

I just wasn't sure if that caught your eye is all. My noise has returned with a vengeance. I think I'm going to retorque the steering head again as last time that stopped the majority of the noise. |
