Froggy or Blake: In light of all the "I am getting rid of my 1125" threads, is there a way to create a poll so we can see, in numbers, those that want to get rid of theirs? I am curious to see which way the masses are leaning on this. By the way I am keeping mine. Oh and you should only be able to vote once, so the numbers don't get skewed. | ||

great idea... I'd be interested in a poll that asks... Should HD be held accountable for fixing our bike issues? I think Maul has a great poll topic BUT... there is a difference between people getting rid of their 1125's because the bike simply is not for them ( a personal taste decision) AND people getting rid of their bikes as a last resort because HD does not have a fix for the charging issues (frustration decision). | ||

Badweb does not have a poll feature, so in the past I have done it like this survey for age: http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/290 431/563512.html But like said above, there is no point in making a survey regarding this topic. Who cares if someone gets rid of their bike? It is their loss, not yours. Oh and for the record, I am keeping both of mine.  | ||

combine them all... I am getting rid of my 1125 because its not the bike for me I am getting rid of my 1125 because I am frustrated with the lack of HD support\ R&D of the charging\misc issues I'm not ever getting rid of my 1125 no matter what! | ||

I have a 96 S1 you would have to pry from my fingers and the only way the 1125R is going is when Erik starts selling the 1190's. | ||

I think if Harley had given a larger portion of their budget to Buell then there would have been a much better turnout for the whole Buell line of motorcycles. There would have definitely been less issues with the 1125R and CR. | ||

Love my '03 XB9R and my '09 1125R....they ain't going nowhere. Also love my '03 Screamin' Eagle Road King and that ain't going nowhere either. Always loved HD's and the recent ousting of Buell is disappointing to me, but not enough for me to stop riding HD. We all know we've not heard the last of Erik and quite frankly the only reason I might part with either of my current Buell's would be to make room in the garage for a new 1190R when it's offered as a production model. Maybe by then I'll have a bigger garage and not have to make a painful decision. Ride on!  | ||

I would love to take a poll and shove it up H-D's corporate butt. As for my 09' 1125R, I would trade my wife first and she's the mother of my two kids. Everytime I get on that thing, it feels like the first time. And the bike too!!! | ||

Father_of_an_era - my take on your HD budget comments is very close. If Harley had given their entire R&D budget to Buell and put that work into production Harley would be SELLING bikes with real forks and brakes that could handle. American made should mean 'the best'. For the last 15 years there has been an occasion or two where some HD BT folks have shared their unsolicited opinions. My answer was the same with my 96S1 as it is with the 09CR. It's HD's best effort at performance. |
