anyone with some insight on how to get the "dashpot" feature turned on and working on the ebr ecms? dashpot would be the 200 rpm or so increase as you let the clutch out without using the throttle. i have been playing with it a bunch and haven't got it licked yet.

subscribing to thread because I might learn something here!

(I've not heard of a "dashpot" since carbs went historic.)

I like that feature too!

Can Erik Buell Racing put these back in with a reflash?
1. Set throttle rpm off idle rise = On.
2. bring back the Cold light at start up.
3. Idle Air Control to stock, no dieseling. In a perfect world full decel would be based on a closed throttle.
If you wanted dieseling you would keep the throttle open.

This is a RACE ECM, first off and secondly why on Earth would you want the COLD flashing instead of actual engine temp?

It is! Spoke by mail to to M.R. at Erik Buell Racing and they will do just what is asked. The stock ECM and an aftermarket muffler would be too buzzy. I want engine braking so until I get Erik Buell Racing ECM reflashed it's the stocker.

Gemini- I can probably help you with the 'dashpot' (IAC settings) if you want the clutch out rev rise. You will need Tunerpro and a cable though. PM me

Why do we not all share information on what settings do what in tunerpro. we could all help each other rather than discover something and then keep it secret. Just a thought, how about a thread sharing knowledge on tunerpro settings and what they actually do and their effects ?
Just a totally out there thought.

Stim: Because that's what some assholes like to do. They like to figure something out then vaguely mention it in passing as if they're in some sort of special club. It's maddening, isn't it?

Yes it is, I am totally new to FI, I am good on carbs but this stuff is new to me, here is what I have found out.
Erik Buell Racing ecm on a UK 2009 bike
Like many I had the off idle stall, fixed it by changing the front and rear fuel maps in the area from 1,600 to 2,600 RPM and 10 to 35 TPS, used the toolbox to multiply by 1.10, a 10% increase. If you Include the 1,400 RPM area it actually makes the stalling issue worse, I found this out by trial and error, not by knowledge but it does work, took me a while but I am persistent. I am sure others here have discovered far better information than me.
Please share.

Knowledge is power and some folks want to be paid or begged. IDK either.
