I installed the high bar kit and am pleased with the riding position but the stock mirrors are now just blinkers since I can't see rearward. Also the bar end plugs supplied with the kit won't fit even with more than gentle persuasion.
Any solutions?
Thanks

my mirrors were much better after the new bars?? maybe check the alignment marks again.
the bar ends are a real bit.. pain! i trimmed the first ring almost flush with the center part. then slid it in and pounded away. it went in much easier. and i figure if i ever needed em in a crash the road would help hold em in even more : )

they work very well for me, I've been running mine for about 2500 miles now, and am pleased with the results.

What size are the inside of the highbars?

I can't stand the stock mirrors, they vibrate so bad i can't see a reflection, not to mention the only thing they show me are my shoulders.

I think i will get those cheap bar end mirrors for $12 and keep the stockers for the turn signals

I run bar end mirrors on most of my bikes - actually I normally only bother with one on the RHS (I am in the UK so one on the LHS for you would do) - I use the really cheap ones off eBay too and get more visibility with them than stock mirrors.

If you do that I'd consider putting some small flush mount bilnkers on the cowl and removing the stock mirrors all together

Thanks for the suggestions-I'll try the easiest first to see if that works. I can see the bike will be more trouble than a Honda but hey, There is a real Buell community.

Stock mirrors didn't work at all for me....

Here's what I did. Bar ends, and some bullet lights in the concaves on the flyscreen.

and here's what I would like, but I'm a cheap bastard.

Someday....

I put Oberon streetfighter bar end mirrors on and oberon LED signals on each side of the flyscreen.

Works great, problem solved.
