Just curious. When my hubby and I ride and I'm on the 1125CR and he's on his TT, our mileage readings are way off. My CR can be as much as 7-8 miles off (more miles than his) and I think his is correct. I've measured it with the mile markers and it gets off track after a few miles. I have the stock size of tire. The speedo is also off compared with the GPS. It can be as much as 5mph difference. The speedo says I'm going faster than I am.

Any thoughts?

sounds like you have a R calibration instead of the CR . Only know because I had a R Erik Buell Racing ecm and a CR stock ECM . I think there is a 8% difference .

All my Buell's read about 2-4 MPH high at highway crusing speeds (60mph-ish), GPS confirmed.

Yep, I've been meaning to adjust the speedo with tunerpro but have been too lazy. That wouldn't work on the 06 XB or the Blast, but 2 out of 4 ain't bad.

I wonder if it's a tires/inflation issue?

Nope, it reads about the same from the lowest I've tested (32psi) to highest (52), Tire wear has a bigger impact, but still nothing major. Having a large tire (brand new, high PSI) would make it more accurate if I am doing the gear ratio math correctly.

When I had my CR on the dyno, the speedo matched the dyno spot on. Nice.
