Hey guys. I'm going to be purchasing an Erik Buell Racing Race ECM from a member on here (I think) who doesn't use it as he got the FMF specific one. My question is this. After I purchase it, if I have a problem (like the idle speed being too high) can I send it back to Erik Buell Racing like some of you guys have to have it worked on without paying some kind of ridiculous reflashing fee?

EDIT: Sorry about the double post. The first thread wasn't click-able because of the freaking url thing....

i believe they charge $25 for a reflash. But you should email them to confirm.

Ok. I guess that's not too bad if and when I have any problems. I'm not assuming that I will, just wanted to make sure.

Now, here's to having a properly fueled bike!!!!

Jon (Drawkward), just a word. Make sure you tell Michael at Erik Buell Racing exactly what you have in equipment, as pipe(size), intake air cleaner, etc and where you want the idle, and he will flash it for that, almost exactly. Good luck Bob
