I got two sets of the Taylor Made engine case covers from Erik Buell Racing, I just haven't gotten around to installing them yet. It looks pretty straight forward, undo bolts, put on cover, reinstall bolts. Anything I need to know? Snags? Tips? Thank you. : )

Not that I know of.
Mine went on just that easy.

I would recommend taking your time in snugging up the bolts, the covers will make some creaking and cracking sounds that are a bit unnerving, but all looks good after it's done.

When I installed mine, I had to trim /grind the cover on the stator side to fit around the two oil line b-nuts. The clutch side went on without any modifications.

it fits best on the new style clutch covers. on my 08 clutch cover i had to put 3 washes between the cover and case for each mounting screw. they work real good!!

After your first install, I'd recommend checking the torque a few times. On my 09 1125R, I checked it cold after each ride. It took 4 or 5 heat cycles before the material seated all the way.

I had to trim a little on the left side cover because it was getting hung up on one of the oil pipes.

Once I did that everything was great. I did put loctite on all the bolts tho.
