A week or so ago I put a Barkers muffler on my 25r. My matching Erik Buell Racing ECM arrived a little while ago and I just bolted it up.

I can't wait to go to work and test out the new set up, it was in need of more fuel with the Barkers exhaust.

Make sure you got your pants strapped on tight ... : ) You're gonna love how well behaved it is below 4k rpm now.

Hey, I hope to be doing the same soon. Can you post what your impressions are and maybe even some pics? That would be way cool! Thanks! -Tutt

Wow, the smoothness of this set up is unreal! The decel popping being gone is nice also. I wasn't really able to "ride it like I stole it" on my way to work as my ride to work takes me thru the Cuyahoga Valley National Park. Great twisty roads, but it was just before sun down and that's when the deer start wandering around on the street. Too many blind curves and "Oh Shit" moments at that time of day to push hard. But it's clear the engine is much happier with the ebr ECM giving it proper fuel.

Cowboy, what do want to see pics of? There's really nothing to see with the ECM, and the install takes about 20 minutes start to finish including the tps reset.

Badlionsfan, I guess if there is nothing to post pic wise, then all is good. If there are any install pics that might be useful for the rest of us who haven't done it yet, that might be cool but not a big deal either. I'm glad it worked out so well for you and hope to do the same with my own 09 CR this month.

Regards!

Yeah there isn't anything to really see. You can preview the install by removing the left pod cover, and the ECM is right there. Undo the 10 mm nut and unplug the two connectors and the reverse those steps and you're done, then do the tps reset.

One thing that is helpful to know is ya need a 10 mm deep well socket.

Hey, cool guys, thanks! I bookmarked that for later. Sounds very simple.

I'm going to order up the Barkers and chip today or tomorrow!

Grassyass!
