So...last week before I left on this trip I was able to get the stator update done on the bike..so around Tuba City Arizona I get the batter and engine light, the description has the charging system indicated and the level of my battery, and that is about it...so my question is, has anyone had this happen after the update?? I found a guy on the reservation and he hauled me and the bike to Grand Canyon HD. They seemed to think voltage regulator, but said they are so packed from all the bikes on the road to sturgis and other areas that they might not be able to look at it until friday...so...I wait I guess...hopefully soon as the GP is sunday...and that is the reason I am out here to begin with...

I believe there have been a few, where the stator was on it's last legs prior to the update and they have went out after it was done. Knock on wood I haven't had the issue.

The only codes that came up were a level 4 br something, and the display that read voltage system and that was all.

This is the only problem I have had with it. It has been solid until this one.

I get the tach flutter, but I am waiting until winter so I can show the dealer the lower fuel light with a full tank that comes on when it is chilly out.

That's not a code, that's a function of the display - Brightness level 4 (it's adjustable)

My bikes have been down for a month. Both of them have been at the shop waiting for stator covers.

Getting very frustrated.
